    Every year, thousands of students appear for CBSE Board exams and the pass percentage for the board is rated high on improvement scale as compared to other board examinations. This year, the result announcement for CBSE Board exam is expected by May 28, 2018, for Class 12th and Class 10th as well. While most of the students are expecting good results but there are some who unexpectedly flunk in some subjects. However, they need not worry because they still have chances to do well or improve their scores with CBSE Compartment/Improvement Exams 2018.

    Raksha Gopal from Amity International School in Noida topped in CBSE Class 12 exams 2017. She secured All India Rank 1 with 99.6% in Arts stream. In an interview; she shared her success story and exam preparation strategy i.e. her plan was not to secure top grades, rather it was just to do well in CBSE board exams 2017. And her only focus was for giving her best performance in all the subjects and to ensure this she solved as many papers as she can in her exam revision time.

    Moreover, she said that school teachers helped her a lot in the board exam preparations. They chalked out the complete strategy for the preparation of CBSE Class 12 board exams 2017 and provided lots of sample paper which helped her to achieve the success.

    Bhumi Sawant from DAV, 8-C, Chandigarh, secured AIR 2nd in CBSE Board exams 2017. She scored 99.4% in science stream for Class 12 of CBSE board exams. She shared that for best exam preparation, she had solved a lot of CBSE sample tests and practice papers before the exams. After solving sample papers she was quite sure about her success.

    She added that students need to be focused, confident and give their best performance in their board exams without worrying about the results.

    CBSE Class 12 Topper 2017: Aditya Jain

    Stream – Commerce

    Percentage – 99.2%

    Total Marks – 496/500

    Aditya Jain, a commerce student from Vidyalaya (Sector 27, Chandigarh) secured AIR 3 by scoring 99.2% in CBSE Board exams 2017.  Aditya shared that his parents supported him morally and also his teachers provided him with all sort of academic guidance required for board exam preparations.

    He also said that it is essential to stay away from social media in class 11 and class 12. He added that besides studying, physical activities like sports, meditation, and yoga are also important. When asked about time management he said that he used to set a target for every day and night and also checked whether his target was accomplished or not.

    Moreover, he said studying too much in a single sitting does not help much rather it makes you tired, if you continuously study for 10 – 12 hours a day. However, if one will study for shorter duration with complete concentration then scoring well in CBSE Class 12 board exams is effective.

    Topper Tips for CBSE Board Exams

    Focus: Students need to focus only on the board exams as board exams not come every year. Students should stay away from the social media websites as these only distract students from their study.

    The pattern of the question papers:  Structure of answer is very important to score good marks in board exams. Therefore, they should focus on the structure of answer used by Board Toppers’.

    Practising past years papers: Solving previous years’ paper is a must. It helps them to understand the pattern and difficulty level. It also helps in brushing up their knowledge.

    Time management: Students should not study continuously for long hours. They should take proper rest in between their study hours.
