CET Results 2015 is likely to be announced today @ www.kea.kar.nic.in

    BENGALURU: Results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2015, conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), will be announced on June 1.

    The previous date to release the results was May 26. But following confusion and errors in II PU results, the date was postponed.

    KEA has not yet announced dates of document verification and counselling. This year, 1.5 lakh students appeared for CET.

    The CET-K 2015 began on May 12 with the Biology and Mathematics paper and concluded on May 13 with Physics and Chemistry. Exam for Kannada language was also conducted on the same day for an hour in the evening. Students were supposed to give the practical examination for the agriculture stream on May 16.

    Check Karnataka CET Results 2015: The decisions of postponing were taken after the protests entered its fourth day in the premises of the Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE), over the various complaints about the recently declared II Pre-University (PU) results.

    Last year, Karnataka CET was held across 52 cities spread over Karnataka. Around 1,37,000 applicants appeared in the exam, competing for admissions to get into nearly 220 Engineering colleges in the State.

    Provisional answer-scripts for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics were published by the Karnataka Examinations Authority and any justification or revaluation could be submitted on May 18 by 5.30 pm.

    The Karnataka Examinations Authority is yet to announce the dates for counselling and document verification, as well.

    The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) every year to determine the merit of candidates for admissions to the first year or first semester of full time courses in medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), ayurveda, homoeopathy, unani, naturopathy & yoga, engineering, technology courses (B.E./ B.Tech) and architecture courses (B.Arch), in government or University or private aided or private un-aided professional colleges in Karnataka.

    CET Karnataka is conducted for admissions to the first year or first semester of full time courses in medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), ayurveda, homoeopathy, unani, naturopathy & yoga, engineering, technology courses (B.E./ B.Tech) and architecture courses (B.Arch), in government or University or private aided or private un-aided professional colleges in Karnataka.

    1,57,580 candidates were appeared for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2015) conducted by the "Karnataka Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2015) Examinations Authority" (KEA) on 12 May, 2015 and 13 May, 2015 in 343 centres across the state of Karnataka.

    Students who appeared for the entrance test can access their results on the the Karnataka Board official website karresults.nic.in & kea.kar.nic.in. Students need to log on to the mentioned website, click on the link provided and submit required details. Students are required to submit either ID or Password or the application number and birth date and security pin to check their results.

    The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2015 was held across the State in 343 exam centers on May 12 and 13, 2015. This year around 1,57,580 candidates appeared for the entrance test. We wish you all the best!
