CGCRI Kolkata Notified Recruitment for 12 Junior Steno & Asst. Grade- III Posts 2014

    Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 12 posts – 1 post of Junior Stenographer and 11 posts of Assistant Grade- III in the disciplines of General (7 posts), Finance & Accounts (2 posts) and Stores & Purchases (2 posts). Interested candidates should send their applications along with attested copies of required certificates/ documents by post to the CGCRI, Kolkata office so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 31 October 2014.

    Vacancy details

    Total vacancies: 12 posts

    Job Location: Kolkata (West Bengal)

    1. Junior Stenographer (Hindi/ English): 1 post

    Post Code: J- 10

    Pay Scale: Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 per month.

    Maximum Age Limit: 28 years

    Qualification: (10+2)/ XII or equivalent and speed of 80 wpm in Shorthand & 35/ 40 wpm in Hindi/ English Typewriting.

    Knowledge of Translation from English to Hindi and Hindi to English with knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word and Power point is desirable.

    2. Assistant Grade- III: 11 posts

    Pay Scale: Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900 per month.

    Maximum Age Limit: 28 years

    Typing Criterion: English Typing @ 35 wpm and Hindi Typing @ 40 wpm on Computer. ( 10 minutes test)

    Discipline-wise vacancy details:

    a. General: 7 posts

    Post Code: A- 01

    Qualifications: (10+2)/ XII or equivalent. Graduation or equivalent with knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word and Power point is desirable.

    b. Finance & Accounts: 2 posts

    Post Code: A- 02

    Qualifications: (10+2)/ XII or equivalent with Commerce as a subject. Graduation or equivalent with knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word and Power point is desirable.

    c. Stores & Purchases: 2 posts

    Post Code: A- 03

    Qualifications: (10+2)/ XII or equivalent. Graduation or equivalent with knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word and Power point is desirable.

    Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.

    Travel Allowance: Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed single 2nd Class to & fro Railway fare by the shortest route.

    Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.100 is to be paid through a crossed DD drawn in favour of ‘Director CGCRI’ payable at Kolkata.

    Candidates should mention their name, category and post code applied for on the reverse of the DD.

    SC/ ST/ PH/ Female/ CSIR Employees/ candidates from foreign are exempted from payment of application fees.
