Changes in XAT 2014 Exam Pattern
Xavier Aptitude Test will be conducted on 5 January 2013. This time XLRI has made certain changes in the examination format and pattern of XAT Exam. Read to know more.
Xavier Apitude Test is conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI every year. XAT 2014 is scheduled to be conducted on 5 January 2014.
As per the latest information, there are some changes in the examination pattern of Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT). Previously General Knowledge section was a separate paper and was conducted seperately. This year General Knowledge section will be made part of the main XAT Paper.
Having conveyed that, the marks secured in the GK Scetion will not be included in assessment of the final marks of the students. It will be considered in the Personal Interview process.
In view of these changes, the time duration of the exam will be increased by 20 minutes excluding the time required for Essay writing. Total time duration of the exam remains 3 hours.
XAT will be a pen and paper based entrance examination.
