Check CBSE Result 2014 for class 12th (www.cbseresults.nic.in) Today

    The CBSE class 12th results 2014: The results for the CBSE class 12th results for the North region may be declared today, i.e. May 27 or May 28. The results for the Chennai and Trivandrum region were, however, announced on May 26 around 12:30 pm.

    This year the pass percentage of CBSE class 12th results of Trivandrum region was 94.26 percent. Out of this, 96.72 percent of girls managed to clear the exam while 91.96 percent boys passed the exam in the Trivandrum region. A total of 35638 candidates from Thiruvananthapuram registered for the exams wherein 18414 were boys and 17224 were girls.

    On the other hand, a total of 46,441 students registered for the CBSE 12th examination 2014 from the Chennai region out of which 25,976 students were boys and 20,465 were girls. The examination was attempted by 46,062 students out of which 42,207 students successfully cleared the exam giving a pass percentage of 91.63 per cent. The pass percentage for boys was recorded at 90.45 per cent with 23,279 boys passing the exam; similarly the pass percent for girls was 93.13 per cent with 18,928 girls passing the exam.

    The CBSE last week the results of Class 10 examinations.

    Girls once again outshone boys in the Class X results, which recorded a pass percentage of 98.87, a marginal increase over last year. The pass percentage of girls stood at 99.06 percent as compared to 98.74 percent of boys.The overall pass percentage last year was 98.76 percent.

    This year, examinations began in March but were extended till April 25 due to the Lok Sabha elections, with CBSE even rescheduling some papers. Over 10 lakh candidates, including 6,03,064 boys and 4,26,810 girls, across the country had registered for the examination this year, which was an overall increase of 9.32% from last year, when 9,42,035 students had registered for the exams.
