Jharkhand Board students who are waiting for their 12th result should now keep their fingers crossed as the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is going to declare the Jharkhand 12th Result 2014 today, that is, on 09 May 2014. This year 84,382 candidates were appeared in Jharkhand 12th Science Exam 2014 and 46757 candidates were appeared in JAC 12th Arts Exam 2014
Students who appeared in the state intermediate exams in Jharkhand in 2014 would be able to check out the respective results, once it is out, on Jagranjosh Jharkhand Result 2014 Page by typing jharkhand12.jagranjosh.com or https://www.jagranjosh.com/results/2014-jharkhand-12th-32401 to get the Result on time.
The Class 12 state board examination in Jharkhand was conducted from 21 February to 13 March by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). Lakhs of students appeared in the exams.
Last year, the Jharkhand Intermediate Exams for the Art, Commerce, and Science Streams were conducted from 22 February to 15 March 2014. In 2013, the results for science stream intermediate exams was announced on 28 May 2013 that recorded a considerable fall in pass percentage of the stream compared to previous year 2012. A total of 50,504 students were failed in the science stream that gave only 38.28 pass percent, around 10% lesser than preceding year’s record at 48.37. Of the total 81,831 students appeared in science stream exams, only 31,327 passed, and out of this only 6,096 managed to make it in first class.
A total of 44,531 students appeared in Commerce stream exams last year, of which only 31, 419 passed, making pass percent of 70.55.
In Arts Stream, 1, 51,637 students appeared in 2013, of which 72.92% (1, 10,581 students) passed the exams.
About the JAC
Established on 26 December 2003, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) was constituted by the Jharkhand State Legislature and assented to by the Governor of the State which was known as Jharkhand Academic Council Act 02.7.2003.
The JAC is responsible to conduct every year Class 10th and 12th, that is, matriculation and intermediate annual exams across the state for schools/colleges affiliated to it.
