The SSLC exams are also commonly known as class 10th board examinations. The SSLC exams are conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB). The SSLC exams are held each year in the month of March. This year the SSLC exams started on March 28, 2014 and finished on March 9, 2014.
Over 8.26 Lakhs students appeared in the SSLC examination this year, and 41,269 candidates were repeating the examinations. It’s been recorded that overall 7.26 Lakhs students were applying freshly for the first time and the private students were 21,670 in count.

The SSLC examination which is conducted every year by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board has decided to upgrade the evaluation system from this year because of the immense increase of the students who sat for the Karnataka SSLC exam 2014 and to bring results out in public on time.
