According to the estimates, over 3.5 lakh students have appeared for the Uttarakhand state board examination. The examinations are held every year for students appearing for board examinations at various grades like 8th standard, 10th standard and 12th standard. For students appearing for examination for standard 10th, the pressure is more. This is because the results will allow them to choose the respective stream of their choice. If the grades are well enough, they can choose for a better stream and if they aren’t they can choose from other options. But the purpose of conducting the examination is to judge the basic aptitude of the student. Based on the aptitude or skill of the student, the student should be allowed the freedom to study what he/she wishes to study. There’s simply no point in pushing the students towards a stream where he/she has lack of interest over the subject.

The results can be easily seen on Jagranjosh’s website. It is recommended that the student, teachers and parents take the results positively and make a wise decision towards making a better future of the students of our country.
