The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is all set to announce the West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2014, which is expected to be declared on 22 May 2014 at around 10 am. The class 10 examination or Madhyamik examination 2014 had been conducted in the West Bengal in the month of Feb-March 2014 at number of examination centers across the state. The total number of examination centers in Kolkata, North Bengal, Midnapore and Burdwan districts is 2661. As per the available data, about 10, 50,959 students appeared in the West Bengal Madhyamik examination 2014, out of which 4, 89, 760 were regular girls while 4, 52, 182 were regular boys.
In 2013, the Madhyamik results in West Bengal were declared on 27 May 2013, in which 10, 36, 659 regular students appeared.
Every year the WBCHSE tries to announce the results in mid of the month May.
Established in the year 1951 under the Act of the State Legislature known as the West Bengal Secondary Education Act 0f 1950, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) affiliates many public and private schools in the state of West Bengal. The board is responsible to conduct two major annual exams every year – class 10 and class 12. Around 10, 50,000 examinees take up the exams every year.
