The Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT 2) which kick started on 21 February 2013 and is to go on till today, i.e. 25 February 2013 , is an online test and is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) .
Apparently, a whopping number of three thousand students have already registered for the test in the round. The exam paper seemed easy to some students, who were expecting a lot tougher exam paper, the examination focused on the basic concepts .
The examination is generally taken by students who are seeking MBA seats mostly under the government quota.
The CMAT paper is divided into four sections, first being the Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical reasoning, Language comprehension and General Awareness — with 100 questions containing four hundred marks. The results is due to be announced on 13 March 2013.
The CMAT-1 was held in September 2012. For the ones who missed the previous test, it would be held again in May 2013.
