CMAT 2020: Eligibility Criteria

CMAT eligibility is set by the conducting body NTA to screen those candidates who can appear for the exam and can seek admission in the CMAT affiliated institutes.

    As per the latest reports, the CMAT 2020 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) which has replaced AICTE that was earlier responsible for various entrance exams. The official date for CMAT 2020 has not been announced yet, however the exam is expected to be conducted in the month of January 2020. So, before applying for the entrance test, aspirants must get familiar with the eligibility criteria of CMAT 2020 in order to find out whether they are eligible to appear in the MBA entrance test.

    2. To know the minimum qualification that is required to appear in the exam
    3. To avoid any scope of disappointment when you clear the entrance.

    Eligibility Criteria for CMAT 2020

    The CMAT 2019 entrance examination is for admissions into CMAT MBA programs across its centers. NTA has determined the following CMAT 2019 eligibility criteria for aspirants:

    • A candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university
    • He must be a citizen of India
    • There is no limit for number of CMAT attempts
    • Those in their final year of degree can also apply
    • There is no age bar

    Latest update on CMAT 2020

    CMAT 2019 from next year onwards will be conducted by NTA. CMAT Exam Score is accepted in all the colleges approved by AICTE.

    CMAT Exam consists of objective type questions. It is conducted in computer based format. Total time provided to solve 100 questions in CMAT Exam is 3 hours. Questions in the CMAT Examination carry four marks each. And for every wrong response, there is a penalty of -1 mark.
