The much talked about National Eligibility cum Entrance Test phase I and II, which took place on May 1 and July 24, 2016 respectively, results would get out on 17 August at the official website.
NEET, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, is the entrance test for admission of medical aspirants to take admission in MBBS/BDS courses in various medical and dental colleges across the country. The NEET phase II examination, among all the criticism and controversy, took place in on 24 July, 2016 at various examination centres across the country.
For the NEET Phase II, over 4.75 lakh students had registered and 90 percent of the students took the examination on 24 July at the allotted 739 centres in 56 cities across the country. The results of both NEET I and II would get declared on aipmt.nic.in on 17 August, 2016.
Although there were rumors regarding alleged leaks of the CBSE conducted NEET Phase II paper, right after it begin. But CBSE refused to entertain any such report and confirmed that there has been no leak of question papers and the examination was conducted fairly across the country in all the centres.
If everything remains on course, the results of both the phases would come out on 17 August at the official website, deciding the fate of students regarding their admission in medical and dental colleges of their choice around the country.
