COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR DESIGN (CEED)
Conducted by: IIT Bombay (for CEED 2011)
Purpose: To select candidates for admission to postgraduate programmes in design like MDes in the lIT's.
Cost of form: Rs. 950
Eligibility Criteria: i) A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Design; (ii) Professional Diploma of ID/ CEPT; (iii) BFA; (iv) GD Art and 1 year professional experience; (v) A Master's degree in Arts, Science or Computer Applications.

Application deadline: November
Selection Process: Each candidate is supposed to take an entrance test.
Duration of paper: 3 hours
Type of Questions: A candidate will be tested for his/her aptitude for design, involving visual perception ability, logical reasoning, drawing skills, creativity, and communication skills.
Based on the test, candidates will be shortlisted and only those who qualify will be mailed the result. In addition to the CEED score, the candidates also have to apply
separately to the respective IITs and IISc for admission.
