Who Can Apply For CSIR NGRI Technician Recruitment 2026?

To apply for Technician-1 Group-II posts, candidates should have SSC / 10th Standard / SSC or equivalent with
Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI Certificate or National / State trade

What Is The Selection Process For CSIR NGRI Technician Posts 2026?

Shortlisting of candidates will be done by the duly constituted Screening Committee duly constituted by the Director, CSIR-NGRI. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Trade Test intended to test the candidate’s practical knowledge as mentioned in the Nature of Job/ Job requirement.
Those candidates who qualify for the trade test will be eligible to take part in the Competitive Written
Examination (CWE). The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the Competitive
Written Examination. However, candidates should note that the Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for shortlisting the candidate to be called for Trade Test and Competitive Written Examination.

Know About Competitive Written Examination

The Competitive Written Examination will consist of three papers including Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III). The Paper- II and Paper- III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure minimum threshold marks (which will be determined by the Selection Committee) in the Paper-I. The Final merit list will be
prepared only on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II and Paper-III.
