CSIR-IITR, Lucknow, also helps regulatory bodies to formulate / amend guidelines for safe use of chemicals / products, and ensures that the common man is benefited. The motto of the laboratory is “Safety to Environment & Health and Service to Industry”.

 

CSIR-IITR, Lucknow, invited applications for filling up 16 scientific positions. Interested candidates can apply online till 15 June 2013.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.

 

Screening Committee will short-list candidates for the Interview .

 

NOTE: Period of experience rendered by a candidate on part time basis, daily wages, visiting/guest faculty will not be counted while calculating the valid experience for short listing the candidate for interview.

 

Selection Committee may place the candidate in any of the Grade Pay within the Pay Band depending upon the performance of the candidate in the Interview and subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criterion specified.

 

Travel Allowance: Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro single 2nd class rail fare from the actual place of undertaking the journey or from the normal place of their residence whichever is nearer to Lucknow Railway Station on production of Rail Tickets/Rail Ticket Numbers or any other proof of journey.

 

Application fees: Non-refundable application fees of Rs.100 has to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director, IITR” payable at Lucknow.

 

Candidates must write Candidate’s Name,  Category and Post Code Applied for at the back of the Demand Draft.

 

SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates are exempted from submission of application fee.

 

 

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should apply online through IITR website till 15 June 2013 (1700 hours).

 

On successful submission of online application, an application number will be generated by the system. Candidates should take two print-out of the submitted online application form with the Application Number and retain one with them-self for reference.

 

Candidates are required to send the other printout along with attested copies of required certificates / documents and Fee Demand Draft by post to ‘The Director, Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, M. G. Marg, Post Bag No. 80, Lucknow-226001’ so as to reach the said office on or before 25 June 2013 (1700 hours).

 

On the envelope, candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of ………….( Post Code…….)”

 

All candidates should have a valid email id to apply.

 

Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application & DD for each post.
