CTET 2019: Know how to raise objections to CTET Answer Key

CTET: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the official CTET answer key on 24 July 2019 on the websites - ctet.nic.in and cbse.nic.in, allowing candidates to raise objections against faulty answer key. CBSE CTET Answer Key 2019 was released along with the scanned images of the OMR Answer Sheet of the candidates. Candidates were required to check their answers in the OMR Answer sheet and tally it with the CTET Answer Key 2019 and then raise objection to it, if they find it incorrect.

Re-checking or Re-evaluation of CTET OMR Sheet 2019

The CTET 2019 OMR sheet was released by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) along with the Answer Key. Candidates were able to get a photocopy of their CTET OMR Sheet by paying a fee of Rs 500 through the Demand Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education.

However, candidates were not provided with the facility to ask for re-checking or re-evaluation of the CTET OMR Sheet 2019. CBSE evaluates and scrutinises the OMR Sheets properly and repeatedly with the held of machines. Hence, the board does not entertain any request for re-assessment, re-evaluation or scrutiny of OMR answer sheets.

How to check CTET Answer Key 2019 online?

For downloading the CTET Answer Key 2019 and CTET OMR Sheet of July 2019 exam, candidates need to enter their credentials. Here is the step-wise procedure to check the CTET Answer Key:

Step 1: Visit ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Click on ‘Downloading of OMR Sheet and Answer Key for CTET July 2019’

Step 3: Enter Credentials – Roll Number & Date of Birth

Step 4: Download the OMR Sheet & Answer Key

Raise Objections to CTET Answer Key 2019 by today (11:59 PM)

The CBSE has provided the provision to candidates to challenge the faulty answer keys during 24 July to 26 July by paying a fee of Rs 1000 per question. This fee needs to be paid through credit or debit card and is non-refundable. Candidates can challenge the answer keys through the link mentioned on the official website – ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on ‘Submission of Key Challenge for CTET July 2019’

Step 3: Enter Credentials – Roll Number & Date of Birth

Step 4: Fill the Form

Step 5: Present evidence to prove your objection

Step 6: Pay fee through Debit & Credit Card

Step 7: Submit

What happens after candidates raise objections to the CTET Answer Key?

If the CBSE accepts the objection or challenge after subject experts notice any mistake in the answer key, CBSE will notify a policy decision on the website – ctet.nic.in and the fee paid by candidate will be refunded and transferred to the concerned account. However, if the objection is rejected by the CBSE, there will be no refund.

Note: The decision of CBSE on the CTET Answer Key shall be considered as final.
