Cultural Talent Search Scholarship 2018 is offered by Centre for Cultural Resource and Training (CCRT) to culturally talented students who are regulalrly practising performing arts. The CCRT Cultural Scholarship is awarded to children between the age of 10 to 14 years and who belong to families practising traditional performing arts i.e. traditional forms of music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, crafts and literary arts. The students undergoing training for performing arts can apply for CCRT Talent Search Scholarship and they will be provided scholarship amount on annual basis along with reimbursement of tuition fee (for training). Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Eligibility Criteria –
For Tribal Culture/Scheduled Tribe children – Those who possess a valid 'ST' certificate issued by competent authority
For children of families practicing traditional arts – at least 03 generations of the family should be continuously practicing art form(s)
For Differently-abled children – They should be having valid disability certificate issued by the respective authority.
For Creative Writing/Literary Arts – They must have evidences of their original work.
Income criteria – The children whose parent's/guardian' total monthly income is less than Rs. 8000/- per month will be given preference for the award of scholarship. However, the criteria of talent and potential also will be taken into consideration for all the candidates.

Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Application Process –
- The application form of Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme is available on official website of CCRT i.e. http://ccrtindia.gov.in/index.php
- The parent/guardian of the student can download and fill the application form of CCRT Cultural Talent Search Scholarship
- After filling the form, they need to submit it on the official address of the CCRT as mentioned below –
Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Selection Criteria –
- The students will be called for Interview/Test for short listing them.
- There will be a Central Selection Committee for short listing students on basis of cut off and eligibility.
- Only the shortlisted candidates will be informed by post about the dates, timings and venue of the Interviews/Tests which may be conducted at Regional level during the months of May-August of every year.
- The students appearing for Interviews/Tests for CCRT Scholarships will be assessed /evaluated on the scale of 1 to 10 marks by each Expert Committee Member and they will be recommended for scholarship(s) on the basis of total marks obtained by them, strictly in order of ‘Merit’, and on basis of availability of number(s) of scholarship(s).
Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Amount –
- The students will be awarded scholarship of Rs. 3600/- annually.
- Moreover, the tuition fee paid for the specialized training to the Institution or to the Guru/teacher will also be reimbursed of the students in addition to the value of scholarship (Rs. 3600) but the tuition fee of training should not be more than Rs. 9000 per annum.
- The scholarship amount will be credited to the bank account of authorized parent/guardian of scholarship holders by NEFT/ECS/RTGS directly. As the parents will be responsible to pay the approved tuition fee to the Guru/teacher and send the payment receipts duly signed by him and Guru/Teacher also.
