The state cyber cell headquarters is given a job by Railway Recruitment board (RRB) Bhopal to detect the forged recruitment racket that have created a fake website for giving jobs under railway with application forms available for Rs 300 to Rs 500 as fee to apply for those jobs which never existed. The Railway Board asked the cell to take strong action against them.
The cheaters created a fake website with url www.irrbpl.org and attached the hyper links of RRB’s official websites to add credibility to the claims that the tricksters did. The entire portal had similar layouts like that of an original Railway site along with the job notification that invited applications or 2876 posts of trackman, 4082 helpers, 1239 peons and 3617 ticket collectors on their website asking registration and payment of Rs 300 and Rs 500 from reserved and general category candidates as processing fee. And the last date of submitting application is October 10.
According to RRB Chairman, the fraudsters did not leave any stone unturned to make the entire site and the job notification look original, but they made a mistake by inviting applications for the post of helpers, trackman and peons that does not come under RRB’s job category. Railway Recruitment Commission (RRC), Jabalpur takes charge of filling up these posts.
As per sources, this fraud racket has been operating since 2012 and is headquartered at Bihar. K H Muniayappa, the then Railway Minister in the year 2012 has conveyed this issue of fake websites in Lok Sabha with a written document. Till now the cheaters have not been detected.
