Delay in announcing re-checked marks sparks fear among CBSE Students

CBSE Class XII Board Exam 2013 candidates from Delhi who had applied for re-checking of their papers are now caught up with the fear that CBSE delay in the re-evaluation process will keep them from taking admission in DU.

CBSE Class XII Board Exam 2013 candidates from Delhi who had applied for re-checking of their papers are now caught up with the fear that CBSE delay in the re-evaluation process will keep them from taking admission in DU. Delhi University’s deadline for the submission of forms is 19 June and students are still looking for their re-checked marks.

The results of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam were announced on 27 May, and even the students who sent their papers for re-evaluation on the very next day of the result announcement are yet to receive the results.

Looking into the grievances, CBSE officials stated that the process might take time but students will surely get their re-evaluation result before the admission deadline. As per the officials, the process of rechecking is quite a time consuming as they have search the answer sheet of a particular student among lakhs of copies. Besides that, the re-evaluation process entails paper checking at three levels in order to ensure accuracy.
