Directorate of Education, New Delhi has begun admissions to Class 11th for Commerce and Science streams. Students studying in the government schools of Delhi can register with their own school only. The Class 11th admission registration for Delhi Government School for academic session 2018-19 will begin soon after the announcement of CBSE Class 10 Result 2018. The applications for Delhi Government School Admissions 2018 can be filled and submitted with Heads of the Government Schools in June-July only. The admissions to Government schools for academic session 2018-2019 will be done under two categories i.e. Plan Admissions and Non-Plan Admissions. The students who are studying in government school i.e. schools running under the management of MCD and DCB. These students are allotted a parent school by their current school. The students need to secure admission only in their allotted parent school. If they seek admissions other than parent school then they can do so under Non-Plan admissions.
For admissions to Delhi Government Schools under Non-Plan admissions, the students are considered if –

The students need to fulfil the minimum educational criteria and also, the age limit for admissions to Class 11th at Delhi Government Schools.
Educational and Minimum Marks Criteria:
The students seeking admissions to Class 11th must be between 15 years to 17 years of age only.
There will be relaxation in maximum and minimum age for one year as on March 31, 2018 to those students seeking admission in class 11th in the Govt. Schools under Directorate of Education, and those who have passed class 10th from CBSE or equivalent Board with no gap in education year.
Note: The educational and age limit criteria is not required in case of Plan Admission category.
Students who come under Specially Abled Category will be provided relaxation of 5% marks in all subjects.
Students who have passed their Secondary Examination (Class 10th) from NIOS with 55% marks or above in aggregate of 5 main subjects are eligible for admission in Vocational & Humanities streams provided they are below 17 years of age as on 31st March, 2018.
The Government School Admissions Form 2018 is available with the Head of School only. The Applications form for Delhi Govt Schools can be filled (Option Form available in PDF attached below) and submitted by the students directly in the school where they seek admission after the declaration of CBSE Class 10th result 2018.
