Realizing the fact that the formula used by All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to decide the SC/ST/OBC or category-wise seat reservations in its various academic courses is not in line with the legislative directives, the Delhi High Court told AIIMS to follow the standard provisions for quota. The Court directed AIIMS to refresh its reservation quota norms in the light of the provisions laid out in the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act, 2006.
