Eligibility Criteria for recruitment of Special Educator (Primary)
Educational Qualification
- Senior Secondary School (12th Class) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution
- 2 year's Diploma programme in Special Education Recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India in any category of Disability. OR Any other equivalent qualification approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
- Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years
Pay Scale: Rs 9300- 34800 + Grade Par Rs 4200
Application Fee: Application Form must be accompanied by a crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs 100 for Group ‘B' for group ‘B' posts, in favour of ‘The Secretary, Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board', which is non-refundable along with all the educational/ professional/ experience and caste documents.
No other mode of payment will be accepted by the Board. No fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex- Servicemen category.

Main Examination (Descriptive Type): Main Examination will consist of Descriptive Type Questions of 200 marks to be answered in 2 Hours. There will be 10 questions of 20 marks each with parts/ options/ choices. (Questions will consist of post specific subject(s) related to the nature of duty/ responsibilities of the concerned post(s) and will be of the same level as per the qualifications prescribed in the Recruitment Rules of the post concerned).
How to Apply for recruitment of Special Educator (Primary): The complete application form (PART I AND PART II) duly filled in along with photocopies of relevant documents/certificates etc duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and the IPO of the requisite amount can be delivered personally in the Application Receiving Counter, Office of the DSSSB, FC-18, Institutional Area, Karkardooma, Delhi -110092 between 10 am and 5 pm on all working days (except Saturdays, Sundays & Gazetted Holidays). In case the closing date happens to be a public holiday the next working day will be the last date for receiving of applications.
