On Tuesday (15 July 2014) Delhi University (DU) announced its sixth cut-off list for all the undergraduate courses for the academic year 2014-15. The fifth cut-off list duly filled most of the seats for the popular undergraduate courses. The sixth-cut off list only has few category seats that are reserved at few institutions. The admissions will be carried on till 17 July 2014.
BA (H) in Economics is being offered at ARSD with 94.5-96.5 per cent, at Hansraj with a percentage of 96.5-97.5% and at Satyawati for 92.5%.
For English (H), students can contact DCAC (90. 5%), Hansraj (94.25-96%), Hindu (95.5-97%), Kalindi (89 %), Satyawati (91.5-92.5%) and SGND Khalsa (88%), where seats are still available.
Hindu has few seats left for admissions to B.Com (H) courses with percentage ranging from 96.75- 92.5 %.
The admissions for many popular courses are closed at various notable colleges that include Acharya Narendra Dev, ARSD and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Even Lady Sri Ram, Kirori Mal, Hindu, Ramjas, Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Daulat Ram colleges have also closed down admission to all the courses.
Hansraj is still opened up with the popular courses including History, Economics and English honours. Ramjas and Sri Venketeshwara have few seats left for B.Sc Chemistry. Eligible students can still take admission at the left over courses.
The seventh cut-off list is likely to release on 18 July 2014.
