Discipline II courses now include Foreign languages

    Delhi University bestows undergraduate programs in four different foreign languages German, French, Italian and Spanish and each course offers 39 seats. The classes will commence in the department of Germanic and romance studies rather than colleges. Different post graduate and graduate level courses in different languages are offered by the department of Germanic and Romance Studies. Previously, 1800 applications are received which now enhanced to 2200. The selection of the students is based on the entrance exam which is scheduled on 22th June.

    These languages initially taught as part of BA program which was eradicated from the course. However, students can now prefer them as Discipline II. Five colleges are offering these languages will be taught as Discipline II excepting Italian.
