What is the minimum and maximum age required for admission in Secondary and Senior Secondary Course?
Answer:
There is no upper age limit for admission. However, the minimum age for enrolment is 14 years for the Secondary course and 15 years for the Senior Secondary course.
Differences between CBSE, ICSE & NIOS Boards
Question:
What is the valid proof of date of birth?
Answer:
The certificate of date of birth issued by a Municipal Corporation, a Municipal body, a village Panchayat or any other body’ authorised by Registrar, Birth and Death, Government of India is a valid proof. A medical certificate in respect of age issued by Government Hospital is also acceptable as valid proof in case of orphans or street children.
Question:
What is the minimum education required for admission in Secondary and Senior Secondary Course?
Answer:
Students must have passed class VIII for admission to the Secondary Course. Also, if a student thinks "I have studied enough to be able to pursue secondary course" is eligible. A student must have passed the Secondary course from a recognised Board for Senior Secondary admission.
