Given a continuous increase in the number of form submission, this year the number of enrolments in the School of Open Learning (SOL) at Delhi University is seemed to break the last year's record of 1.32 lakh.
SOL has already taken in over 15,000 aspirants from North Zone alone for the academic session 2013. According to OP Sharma, the assistant registrar, the rush for admissions in SOL is still on and is expected to increase as the last date for form submission approaches. Admissions to SOL will close in the month of August. The point to be noted here is that the SOL’s continuity with the three-year mode in the undergraduate program has not deterred students from taking admissions in it. Most of the applicants are either working or pursuing another course alongside.
