Under the aegis of the Government initiative “Swayam” (Study Webs of Active-learning for Young Aspiring Minds) many top notch Indian Universities have already begun offering online courses, DU being the recent one.

Further it also aims to provide a global platform to other citizens as well. The course has been designed to highlight the historical landmarks and milestones of modern India. It will be accessible to the members of DU community through the varsity’s network.

The first phase of MOOC will start from 30 January 2015 at Aryhabhatta College, Maharaja Agrasen College, IP College for Women and Keshav Mahavidyalya. Intake of students for these courses will commence soon.
