DU UG Admission Process 2014 Starts on 02 June

    Delhi University admission process for undergraduate courses for the academic session 2014-15 will be flagged off in the first week of June. The admission forms will be available form 02 June 2014.

    Students who have cleared their class 12 board exams can apply for any of the courses that university offers before 16 June 2014 as the last date of application is scheduled till mid of June.

    The information is furnished by Dean of Students Welfare J M Khurana at a recently held press conference in the capital.

    Delhi University has 54,000 seats allotted for under graduate courses in 65 colleges all over the city.

    Admissions are likely to begin on 24 June 2014 when the first cut off list for the general category across all the colleges will be announced. There will be no entrance test for the non professional courses such as for English that the university offers for under graduate sessions this time.

    On 14 May 2014, University is set to release full details of the admission process and about its whereabouts. Students can choose any college and apply as there will be no restriction on their preferences and students can enjoy freedom. Candidates can apply online and offline as common pre-admission form (OMR) is available on both ends.

    Some of the state board results of class 12 have already been declared and some are yet to be declared. CBSE results are expected to be out in May. Forms under sports and extracurricular activities quota will be available separately and candidates will have to contact the respective colleges for it. Admissions for the general category candidates will end by 10 July 2014.
