Exam Pattern of DU Entrance Exam 2018 –
Exam mode – The DU entrance exam for all UG courses will be conducted in Computer based mode only. There will be written examination for B.Sc. in PE, HE & Sports.
Exam Duration – The UG entrance exam of DU will be of two hours duration.
Type of questions – There will be multiple choice based questions only.
Test language – The question paper will be provided in English as well as Hindi language.
Entrance Exam Syllabus – The questions in the DU entrance exam will be based on syllabus of Class 10+2 level for the subjects. Only the syllabus for Bachelor of Elementary Education will be up to Class 10th level.
Total questions – There will be 100 MCQs in entrance exam paper of each course.
Total Marks – The total marks for the DU entrance exam is 400.
Marking Scheme – Each question has been allotted 4 marks and there will be negative marking of one mark in case of wrong attempts.

Exam Pattern of DU JAT 2018:
The admissions to UG courses i.e. B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics, BMS, and BBA (FIA) will be done on basis of DU Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) i.e. there will be single test for these courses. Candidates can check here features of DU JAT 2018 –
Exam mode – DU JAT 2018 will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode only
Test Duration – The entrance exam duration will be of two hours only.
Type of Questions – The question paper of DU JAT 2018 will be based on objective type questions with four choices each.

DU Entrance Exam 2018 Selection Criteria –
The selection of candidates will be done on basis of merit list for DU Entrance Exam 2018. It will be prepared on basis of marks scored by candidates in their respective entrance exam. There will be separate merit list for each course of DU Entrance Exam 2018.
The selection criteria for DU JAT 2018 is –
- Entrance Test: 65%
- Qualifying Examination: 35%
