Delhi University’s Annual Festival ‘Antardhvani’ is said to take place in the month of February 2015. The announcement is made by the Dean who also stated that the festival would be organized for three days and will have all the features of last years’ festival including a flower show, food plazas, cultural competitions and other star attractions.

All the colleges and various departments have been instructed not to organize any cultural festival or conference so that none could miss attending or participating in the festival. The sound and light show, which was introduced last year, but was cancelled because of unexpected rain, will be organized again this year because of “popular demand”.

Special features of this year include the award of “good practices”, under the theme “University of Delhi: Meeting the Challenges of India.” Last year, this award went to those who employed “good practices” to achieve the goals set out in the now defunct four-year undergraduate programme. There will also be an ‘International Plaza’ which would display culture, history and lifestyle and also ‘Innovation Plaza’ which would showcase new knowledge creation resulting from the undergraduates’ research projects.
