DU's Department of Anthropology invited Research Fellows for DBT sponsored research project

    Delhi University invited application for a temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for 2 DBT sponsored research project under Department of Anthropology till 31 January 2013. Candidates who have Masters degree in Physical Anthropology or Life Sciences with/ without NET qualification can apply for the same.

    The research topic for JRF is titled as “A case- control study of global and MTHFR gene specific methylation vis-à-vis pregnancy complications in North Indian population” and “Study of Air Pollution and DNA Methylation  vis-à-vis cardiovascular outcomes /variables in rural and urban population of North India”.

    Candidates will be selected as per the criteria mentioned along with interview for the temporary post of JRF which is valid for one year. The selected candidates will be paid Rs 12000 per month along with HRA.

    The University of Delhi was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. Popularly known as DU, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
