Eligibility Criteria for Technical Officer, Scientific Asst and Junior Artisan Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Technical Officer – Engineering Degree in the concerned subject with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized University with post qualification experience in the concerned field.
- Scientific Asst-A – Diploma in Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks from any institution recognized by the State Board of Technical Education in Electronics and Communication / Electrical & Electronics & Instrumentation.
- Junior Artisan – ITI (2 years duration) in the trades of Electronics / Electrical / Computers / Instrumentation. Should have post qualification Industrial experience in the concerned subject.
Age Limit for Technical Officer, Scientific Asst and Junior Artisan Posts
- Technical Officer -30 years
- Scientific Asst-A/Junior Artisan – 25 years

Eligibility Criteria for Junior Artisan & Other Posts Job
Educational Qualification:
- Technical Officer on contract (Cat-1): A First Class Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution/University with minimum 01 years post qualification experience in the area software development in open source platform and Microsoft platform etc.
- Technical Officer on contract(cat-2): A First class Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication/Computer Science with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution/University with minimum 1 year post qualification experience in installation and maintenance of CCTV system, Security Gadgets, Access control systems, Computer, Servers, Networking etc.
- Scientific Asst-A on Contract: A first class Diploma in Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks from any institution recognized by the State Board of Technical Education in Electronics and Communication / Electrical & Electronics /Instrumentation. Should have post qualification experience in the field of Testing / Maintenance of Control & Instruments / Electronics & Communication systems.
- Junior Artisan on Contract (Cat-1): Should have passed ITI (2 years duration) in the trades of Electronics and R&TV. Should have post qualification Industrial experience in the field of testing / maintenance of Pneumatic & Electronics Instruments / Communications gadgets / Electronics Systems / Computers.
- Junior Artisan on Contract (Cat-3): Should have passed ITI (2 years duration) in the trades of Electronics Mechanic /Electrical / Instrumentation. Should have minimum 1 year post qualification Industrial experience in the field of testing and maintenance of electronics instruments, CCTV System, Security Gadgets, Access Control System and Physical Protection systems etc.
Age Limit
- Technical Officer: 35 years
- Scientific Asst-A, Junior Artisan: 25 years
