Be Punctual: Candidate has to take care about arrival at examination venue. It is advised to reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of examination to avoid inconvenience. It is preferred to visit the exact location of venue one day before the exam.
Follow all documented guidelines: Candidates should abide by all guidelines stated in the recruitment notification at the time of exam. Candidate should carry all necessary documents at the time of appearing in the examination like admit card and identity verification certificate which includes Voter card, PAN card etc.
Avoid wastage of Time: Don’t spend too much time on reviewing question paper and avoid solving a particular question repeatedly, it will result in insufficient time to solve other sections.
Time allocation for each section: Allocate time to each question as it is necessary for every section. In IBPS RRB examination, candidate has to qualify & score well in each section.
Reviewing the answers: Before marking answers in the answer sheet, you should check/revise the answer sheet thoroughly. After completing the question paper, revision of answers can help you to excel in examination.
Be careful of negative marking: There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Hence, only attempt the most obvious question in the exam.
Set your priorities: Candidate should be aware of what portion is to be solved at first and then second and so on. It is suggested to attempt general awareness questions at first and remaining depends upon your proficiency.
Be confident: Self reliance & conviction is very necessary at the time of attempting questions. Because, wrong calculations and confusion with factual data (Mathematical formulas etc.) are seen at examination.
Work on committed errors in previous examination: There are numerous candidates who are failing in the examination with the same mistakes. So, try to identify/re-evaluate your mistakes and make an attempt of not repeating it continuously.
Last Minute revision: Candidate should carry some study materials of the required subjects at the exam venue to review the important facts & figures quickly because it is observed that in many cases, last time revision has given unbelievable results.
