Employees Provident Fund Organisation Notified Recruitment for 47 Engineers Positions 2013

    Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to fill up the following Posts in various offices of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation on deputation basis. The EPFO is going to revise the recruitment rules for the following posts. The Employees Provident Fund Organisation Employees’ Provident Fund came into existence with the promulgation of the Employees’ Provident Funds Ordinance on the 15 November 1951.

    1.      Name of the Post : Executive Engineer

    • Electrical: 02 Posts (New Delhi)
    • Civil: 02 Posts (New Delhi)

    2.      Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer

    Name of the Department, No. of Posts & Place of Vacancy        

    • Electrical: 02 Posts (New Delhi).
    • Civil: 13 Posts. (07 – Head Office and 01 Post each in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kanpur and Kolkata)

    1.   Name of the Post : Junior Engineer

    Name of the Department, No. of Posts & Place of Vacancy        

    • Electrical: 11 Posts (01 Post each in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, Utter Pradesh, West Bengal, NATRSS (New Delhi) and Head Office (New Delhi)).
    • Civil: 17 Posts. (02 – Delhi, 04 – Maharashtra, 02 – Gujarat and 01 Post each in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Karanatka, Chattishgarh, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal).

    Eligibility Criteria

    For Executive Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) 

    By Deputation:

    Civil/ Electrical Engineering Officers having qualification of Degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and serving under Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territory Administration/ Autonomous Bodies :

    • Holding analogous posts.
    • Holding  posts in the Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100 in Pay Band (PB) - 3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- with 05 (Five) years regular service in the grade.
    •  Holding  posts in the Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300 – Rs. 34,800 Pay Band (PB) - 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/- with 08 (Eight) years regular service in the grade.

     For Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) 

    By Deputation:

    Civil/ Electrical Engineering Officers having qualification of Degree/ 03 (Three) Years Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent and serving under Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territory Administration/ Autonomous Bodies under Central Govt./ State Govt.:

    • Holding analogous posts.
    • Holding  posts in the Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300 – Rs. 34,800 Pay Band (PB) - 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/- with 03 (Three) years regular service in the grade.
    • Holding  posts in the Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300 – Rs. 34,800 Pay Band (PB) - 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- with 08 (Eight) years regular service in the grade.

     For Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) 

    By Deputation (ISTC)

    Officers of Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territory Administration/ Autonomous Bodies under Govt. of India/ State Govt.:

    • Holding analogous posts on regular basis.
    • The candidate possessing the qualification of 03 (Three) Years Diploma in Civil/ Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an Institute/ Board recognised by the Central Government.

    Age Limit 

    The Maximum age limit of the applicant should not be exceeding 56 Years as on closing date of receipt of application.

    How to Apply

    • Willing and eligible officers may forward their applications through proper channel in the prescribed proforma to Sh. Uday Baxi, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (HRM), Bhavishya Nidhi Bhawan, 14, Bhikaiji Cama Place, New Delhi - 110  066 on or before 31 December 2013.
    • The application should accompanied with copies of ACRs for the preceding five years and Vigilance Clearance.
    • The recruitment rules on the date of appointment shall be considered.
    • The deputation will be governed as per the instruction issued by the Department of Personnel and Training as applicable to Central Government Departments/ Organisations.
    • The matter of pay and allowances will be governed by the orders of the Central Government for such posts.

    Selection Procedure

    The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Interviews, which is conducted by the administration.
