English Proficiency Test Introduced for Indian English Medium Schools

The first ever English Proficiency Survey (EPI) has been conducted by the Education First on Indian English Medium High Schools initiating class 8 till class 10.

The first ever English Proficiency Survey (EPI) has been conducted by the Education First on Indian English Medium High Schools initiating class 8 till class 10. This global research is performed to rank the countries on the basis of their proficiency level and students of high school from over 22 countries will be mapped in this survey.


Every year a survey is organized by the Education first refer as the EF English Proficiency Index (EPI) to evaluate the English proficiency of adults from 60 countries. The survey will be commenced in 30 best Indian schools and only 10 schools ranked in the top position will be considered for competing for the global survey.


This is an online survey where a student has to give online test similar to the format of TOFEL test and the response to the online survey is highly positive. The participating schools are Good Shepherd International School, Unison World School, Billabong International School, Podar International School, Dhirubhai Ambani International School, DRS International School, and many more from every zone of the country whether it is north, south, east or west.
