GATE 2019: Name Correction Request will be accepted by IIT Madras till 17 February

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is now accepting name correction request by students from Feb 14 to Feb 17, 2019. The exam conducting body for GATE 2019, is giving last chance to candidates for correcting name if entered wrong while filling online application form for GATE 2019. Candidates willing to correct/change the name which they entered will have to send an email to gate2019@iitm.ac.in with subject “Name correction and Enrollment ID”. Students need to write the following details in the mail.

1. Enrollment ID,

2. Registration Number,

3. Present Name (Entered while filling GATE 2019 Application from) and

4. Correct Name

In addition to the above details, students will also have to send a soft copy of Name proof like Eligibility certificate, Examination mark sheets, Degree certificate, Aadhaar card etc. without which the name correction request will not be accepted.

About GATE 2019:

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has conducted GATE 2019 for 24 papers on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February in total 8 shifts (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 and S8). The candidate responses recorded during computer based test (CBT) of GATE 2019 for all shifts has been already released. The GATE 2019 exam was conducted for the following papers.
