GATE Result 2019 to be withheld for Provisionally Accepted Candidates if defects not fixed by 15 Feb

In this article, we are providing the list of Provisionally Accepted Candidates published by the IIT Madras at appsgate.iitm.ac.in. Those students whose names are included in this list will have to their erroneous GATE 2019 application form by 15 Feb 2019, other their GATE 2019 result will be withheld.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, the exam conducting body, has published the list of provisionally accepted candidates appsgate.iitm.ac.in. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has conducted GATE 2019 for 24 papers on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February in total 8 shifts (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 and S8). The candidate responses recorded during computer based test (CBT) of GATE 2019 for all shifts have been already released. Students must correct their erroneous application of GATE 2019 before February 15, 2019 otherwise their GATE Result 2019 will not be declared. The possible reasons for their application to be provisional are:

1. Photograph not clear,

2. Signature not clear,

3. Eligibility certificate not complete,

4. Valid SC/ ST category certificate not provided,

Steps to be followed to correct their GATE 2019 Application Form:

  • Go to the official website i.e., appsgate.iitm.ac.in
  • Enter your Enrollment ID / Email Address
  • Enter your GOAPS password
  • Check the error indicated in their online application form
  • Correct it by providing necessary details

About GATE:

The GATE exam is conducted for admissions to Postgraduate Courses (Master’s and Doctoral) with MHRD and other Government Scholarships/Assistantships in Engineering /Technology /Architecture/ Science are available for those candidates who qualify GATE. Some of the PSUs also consider candiadtes’ GATE scores for their recruitment. Examinations for all the papers will be conducted as Computer Based Tests only. The GATE 2019 exam was conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February in total 8 shifts (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 and S8).
