Girls have again outperformed boys in CBSE Class XII Exams, the results of which were stated on May 29, 2014. Girls have traced a pass percentage of 88.52%, while boys have a pass percentage of 78.27%."The variation between the pass percentage of boys and that of girls is 10.25%, with the girls doing much better," PRO of CBSE Rama Sharma stated. The overall pass percentage for 2014 is 82.66% - documented a marginal increase of 0.5% over last year's 82.10%.The highest pass percentage, 94.26%, was from Thiruvananthapuram. "The pass percentage of Delhi is 86.78%," Rana Sharma added. CBSE announced the results on Thursday, May 29, 2014 for Delhi & Dehradun regions & for 6 other regions a day earlier.
