Financial Times has released its Global MBA Ranking for the year 2015. From India IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Banglore and ISB Hyderabad are amongst top 100. Its a matter of proud that Indian B Schools have managed to get a position in the ranking list too.

Premier B-schools like Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad have climbed up slightly from their previous year positions to higher ranks in the Financial Times (London) Global MBA Ranking-2015. But Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, which secured a place in the chart at the 68th position last year, has gone down to 82.

IIM Ahmedabad moved to 26th rank in the recent ranking from 30 in 2014, while ISB climbed to 33rd position in 2015 from 36 in 2014, according to the FT rankings. Harvard Business School topped the ranking list for the sixth time, while London Business School has continued its climb up the chart with second rank.

"The ranking is based on surveys of the business schools and their graduates of 2011. MBA programmes are assessed according to the career progression of alumni, the school`s idea generation and the diversity of students and faculty," FT said on its website.

The FT ranking evaluates the world’s best full-time MBA programmes. This year, 159 B- Schools took part.
