The SSC Exam 2013 was conducted in the State by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) during the month of March. And, reportedly around 9.81 Lakhs of students appeared in the exam.
As an autonomous body, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) executes under the Government of Gujarat. The board is responsible for determining the policy-related, administrative, cognitive, and intellectual direction taken by the state's higher educational system. The GSEB has the responsibility to conduct the two main examinations --the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam for 10th standard and the Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (HSC) exam for Class 12 in the State every year.
