Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) IAS Main (Written) Exam consists of four General Studies Papers. IAS Main (Written) Exam 2014 would commence from 14 December 2014. IAS Main (Written) Exam General Studies Paper III is concerned with the topics related to Technology, Economic Development, Bio diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management.
Candidates must stick to the Syllabus for IAS Main General Studies Paper III notified by the UPSC for General Studies Paper III. Questions asked in IAS Main 2013 were current oriented and more weightage was given to Economics. Questions were direct and analytical.
