The Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore (IIM-B) is going to host the “Global Ethics Forum 2014” from 3-5 January 2014 at the campus. The topic for this year's conference is 'Equal in an unequal World-the value of values in responsible businesses'.
The Global Ethics Forum is a conference on business ethics and sustainability, which held every year at different locations around world. It is a project of Globethics.net. The first Global Ethics Forum Conference that took place at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland from 2 to 3 July 2009. Last year it was held in Geneva.
The Global Ethics Forum 2014 will discuss what role business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR) can play to promote values in responsible business leaders and their role in addressing inequality to transform business and society.
The three-day conference will feature eminent speakers from around the world, including the three international Chairs of the Global Ethics Forum - Walter Fust, Swiss Ambassador, and President of Globethics.net, Judge Mervyn King, Chairman of the International Integrated Reporting Committee (IIRC) and S D Shibulal, CEO and Co-Founder, Infosys, India.
Those who want to take part in the Global Ethics Forum 2014 Conference at the IIM–Bangalore should register by filling in the online registration form available at www.globethics.net. The last date for registration is 20 December 2013. Registration is on a first come first serve basis as places are limited.
The Globethics.net is going to organize Global Ethics Forum 2014 Conference in collaboration with the Centre for Corporate Governance and Citizenship, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), and the Centre for International Business Ethics (CIBE), China.
