Eligibility Criteria for admission in IIM Banglore

Open Candidates: Graduate with minimum 5 years work experience. Selection is based on basis of CAT/GRE/GMAT for open candidates.

Government Candidates: Should be from All India Services or Civil Services and Engineering Services with minimum 7 years of experience.

Application Fee for admission in IIM Banglore

  • For open and overseas candidates applying with GMAT/GRE scores, the application fee is 1500/-
  • For those open candidates who take the CAT 2012, the application fee is  500/-
  • For the Government sponsored participants, there is no application fee.

How to Apply for admission in IIM Banglore

For Open and Overseas Candidates

Open and overseas candidates should fill in the application online. The application fee will be paid online by the payment gateways available on the website.

Government Sponsored Candidates

Officers from All India and Central Services are required to forward the duly filled-in application available at the website, through the concerned departments to the Under Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Government of India. An advance copy of the application should be sent to The Administrative Officer (PGPPM), Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Selection Process for admission in IIM Banglore

For Open and Overseas Candidates

Selection of open and overseas candidates is based on a two stage process. Candidates will be first selected to be called for interview based on the following criteria:

•Academic Background

•CAT 2012 /GMAT or GRE scores

•Work Experience

•Demonstratable Interest in public system or NGO activities

At the second stage, selected candidates will be interviewed and will have  to do a case analysis on the day of the interview.

The Government sponsored candidates

The selected candidates will be interviewed and will have to do a case analysis on the day of the interview.
