IIM Indore IPMAT 2018 exam date announced; find registration details here

Registration for IIM Indore’s most popular 5 year Integrated Programme in Management 2018-23 (IPM 2018-23) has now begun. The IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2018 exam will be held on 11^th May 2018. The exam will be conducted in a single slot across 28 cities in the country. The IPMAT 2018 exam will be online computer based test. Meanwhile, registration and application process for IPMAT 2018 exam has opened today on 12^th March, 2018, and the last date for application is 18^th April.

IPM 2018-23 Admission notice

IIM Indore will release the admission notification for IPMAT 2018 with all the related information and activities in leading newspapers on 14^th March, 2018. However, it will depend on the availability of space in the daily newspapers.

IIM Indore has an intake capacity of 120 students for the 5 year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) 2018-23 batch.

IPM: An entry to IIM Indore after passing class 12^th Board exam

The 5 year IPM programme conducted by IIM Indore offers graduation and post graduation degree in business management at one stretch. Therefore, a candidate simply needs a class 12^th degree to appear for the IPMAT 2018 exam. Rather than going after 3 years of graduation in some other stream, why not straightway appear for the 5 year integrated programme which is combination of BBA and MBA degree. In this integrated programme fundamental subjects such as Statistics, Maths, Sociology, Economics and Psychology are in the first 3 years while management courses are taught in subsequent 4^th and 5^th year.

Candidates who have or are yet to pass the class 12^th board exam with more than 60% marks by the end of 2018 academic session will have a good chance to get into the IIM Indore’s most sought after Integrated Management Programme. After 2 years of study of foundational disciplines, the IPM Students are trained as managers along-with the students of two years post graduate programme, and study the same course package with them in the 4^th and 5^th year.

Candidates who clear the IPMAT 2018 Exam will be shortlisted and will be called to appear for the personal interview. On the basis of IPMAT 2018 Score along-with academic excellence record and personal interview performance, candidates will be granted admission to IIM Indore’s IPM 2018-23 batch.

IPMAT 2018 Exam Syllabus

IPM aptitude test is intended for class 12^th pass students, and therefore the difficulty level of the exam is moderate. There will 100 MCQs in the IPMAT 2018 exam, and the time duration will of 2 hours. The exam is divided into 2 sections, wherein section one has 60 questions from Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning while section two will 40 questions from Verbal Ability& Reading Comprehension.

Key characteristics of IPM AT 2018

• IPMAT 2018 is an objective based test
• There are 2 sections namely Verbal Ability and Quantitative Ability
• 100 objective type questions will be asked and the time duration will of 2 hours
• 4 marks will awarded for each correct answer
• There will be a deduction of 1 mark for every wrong answer
• Applicants must answer the sections in a pre-defined order
• Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability sections have time limit of 75 minutes and 45 minutes respectively
