IIM Ranchi concluded its Placements for their 2015 batch. Students at IIM Ranchi saw an increase in the average salary in comparision to the previous year performance.
The placement process 2015 at IIM Ranchi, which is the 9th Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has seen an increase in average salary to Rs.13.4 lakhs for the PGDM class of 2013-15 despite the largest batch size among all the new IIMs.
136 recruiters at IIM Ranchi participated in the placement process of the year 2015 including 45 first time recruiters making offers to 194 students of PGDM and PGDHRM batch 2013-15. The placement 2015 has clearly shown the confidence corporate world shows in IIMs. There were 152 students from the PGDM batch and 42 from PGDHRM batch seeking placement 2015 in comparison to the lower batch sizes among other new IIMs.
IIM Ranchi witnessed an increase in Average salary of the aspirants to Rs. 13.4 lakhs for PGDM batch and Rs.12.6 lakhs for PGDHRM batch. Highest International offer was Rs.55 lakhs. 3 students of IIM Ranchi got international placement.
General Management emerged as the highest recruiting function with 24% of the batch getting placed in it. Consulting contributed 20% and finance 16% followed by Sales & Marketing and technology with 15% each. Operations and Analytics had a share of 5% each in placement 2015 at IIM Ranchi.
