IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment 2020: Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) has invited applications for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the project on “Study of Lunar Geo-morphological and Impact Cratering Processes through Chandrayaan-1 Datasets” funded by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Interested and eligible candidates can apply on or before 13 May 2020.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should have Master’s degree in Earth Sciences or Geospatial Sciences. Candidates should have valid GATE/NET card.
Candidate having experience of working on DEM data, analysis of morphological features and knowledge of Python or Matlab computing language will be preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The project work is related to remote sensing analysis of Chandrayaan-1 data, interpretation of morphological features on lunar surface and its comparison with similar features on the Earth surface.
