Two undergraduates from Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) have designed an online portal 'www.internlelo.com' that gives the user information about internship opportunities and openings available to be grabbed in different domain. The portal was launched on 14 November 2013 and is a hit among campus students.
That portal will inform about all internship opportunities in different fields along with details such as duration of internship, stipend offered, location of work, eligibility to apply and other essential information. Moreover, information on workshops, conferences, campus ambassador programs, technical and management events organized in college campuses or corporations all across the Globe will also be provided in that portal.
The young entrepreneurs and conceptualizers of this online portal are 2 undergraduate students - Vishesh Sharma and Utkarsh Garg of Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, while the third contributor is Ashish Sharma, a computer science graduate.
As told by the founders also students, a team of 20 IIT students are currently occupied for running this initiative, working in different departments.
One of the creators, Vishesh told that this site will be helpful for not only technical, and management graduates, but also for general graduates in streams like social science, arts, humanities, science and education to find internship opportunities in their field.
Internships mentioned on the website would be ranging from Engineering and MBA firms, international internships as well as NGO and government internships. At this site, students can take help on how to create an impressive CV, take communication skill sharpening tips and can also upload their resume for the hiring personnel to glance at, informed Vishesh, Third year student of Ceramic Engineering.
The portal is intended to spread awareness about all the openings and prospects of opportunities available not only in India but around the globe, to make the student community more alert and empowered.
