With fast growing literacy in India, the country has become the cheapest education destination throughout the globe. In a recent study conducted by a global bank, India is counted as the cheapest country for education, whereas Australia is considered as the most expensive country for education. The study states that Australia shines in the first position of delivering the best quality of education whereas Singapore retains in the second position, taking great leap from its sixth position, last year.
As per the study, Indian cost of living and the education fees is much less as compared to that of Australia. An international student has to spend $ 42,093 every year for their living and studying in Australia, whereas in India the expense is cut down to $5,642.
According to K P Singh, an overseas studies counselor, “Singapore’s dollar is growing faster and therefore education there is becoming increasingly expensive. The dollar rate has grown almost three times in the past three years.”
This year, the study was conducted across 15 countries and it ranked US to be the best place where education is delivered the best. Not only this, but parents also certified US as the best in quality of education. For present, India is ranked among the eighth in terms of quality of education. The survey was conducted by the HSBC bank.
