Indian Army jobs attract huge number of applicants on every recruitment notification released.  Indian Army recruits candidates as Junior Commissioned Officer or as Other Rank or also as an Officer depending on the qualification and performance in the examinations and physical fitness tests.

Due to large number of applicants, many times candidates face the wrath of server issue. However taking care of few important things and avoiding certain probable mistakes, one can easily apply for Indian Army recruitment.

Mistakes to be avoided while applying online

Keep your documents ready beforehand before applying: Looking for documents at the prime time will not only disturb during filling up the application but will also kill the time of the applicant. Therefore candidates are suggested to keep the scanned copies of all required documents in hand before applying. Details of the documents required can be found below:

10th class pass certificate having the details of Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth and matric certificate number.

Valid personal email id and phone number for receiving all important updates regarding the rally, interview, date of joining, etc.

Documents validating the place of domicile

Scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature of the candidate.

Apply at the earliest; do not wait till the last date: While some candidates apply on the first date of submission of application, many others hurry up at the last moment. Unfortunately the number of candidates at the last date is always high! Hence at the last date many candidates either lose their chance of applying. Therefore, in order to avoid such mishaps candidates are suggested not to wait till the end date.

Read the instructions properly before applying online: Applying online may seem easier, but it isn’t so! Mistakes once done, sometimes are not allowed for being changed. Therefore candidates should be very particular while applying online. Indian Army releases instructions for candidates, which every applicant must read thoroughly.

As a prospective candidate you must know about the eligibility criteria set by Indian Army. Only those candidates who satisfy the prescribed educational qualification and age limit can apply for army recruitment.
