Indian Government is Helping with Education of Wards of Mine Workers
Ministry of Labour and Employment invites application from children of labourer and mine workers to provide scholarships of INR 250 to INR 15000. Wards of mine workers studying in class 1 to any professional degree can apply before September 30, 2017.
Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India is assisting wards of labourer or mine workers by providing monetary aid to study from class 1 to any professional degree course.
Application submission closes on September 30, 2017. To check the eligibility and application procedures follow the proceedings:
- Wards of the workers who have worked as beedi workers and mine workers with family income not more than INR 10,000, and cine workers with family income not more than INR 8000 p.m.
- The applicant must have cleared the qualifying examination in single attempt and must have taken admission for regular course in any recognized institute in India.
Varying scholarship amounts of INR 250 to INR 15,000 will be provided to girls and boys from class 1 to professional course like B.E. or MBBS.
Applications are to be made online by registering at National Scholarship Portal.
Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India ensures timely disbursement of Scholarships to students by providing a common portal for various scholarship schemes of central and state Governments to create a transparent database of scholars.
